Disclosed in the present specification are a catalyst comprising titanium supported by silicon oxide for the oxidative dimerization of methane, a production method thereof, and a method for the oxidative dimerization of methane using the same. The catalyst comprises titanium, manganese, and sodium tungstate supported on a silicon oxide carrier to increase the conversion of methane and the selectivity of C_2 hydrocarbon, thereby improving the oxidative dimerization reactivity of methane.
