The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker for discriminating shattering resistance of soybean seed, a composition for discriminating shattering resistance of soybean seed comprising an agent for detecting or amplifying the SNP marker, a kit or microarray for discriminating shattering resistance of soybean seed comprising the composition and a method for discriminating shattering resistance of soybean seed. The SNP marker of the present invention can be used to easily discriminate shattering resistance genes of soybean seed, so that crop loss can be effectively reduced.
