The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a life environment safety index service for an optimal outdoor activity. Specifically, the system for providing a life environment safety index service for an optimal outdoor activity includes: a service server providing information on atmospheric environment for an outdoor activity by a region and time and information on a microorganism number (density) in the air in accordance with the pollution level of the atmospheric environment, wherein the service server also provides information on the time in which an exercise is possible in accordance with the atmospheric environment based on the information on the atmospheric environment and information on the microorganism number; and a user device connected to the service server by a wired or wireless communication network and receiving the information on the atmospheric environment and information on the microorganism number provided by the service server, wherein the user device also receives information on the time in which the exercise is possible by each day in accordance with the atmospheric environment. According to the present invention, the system and method for providing a life environment safety index service for an optimal outdoor activity can provide exposure time which does not inconvenience the health during an outdoor activity including jogging, walking, and cycling.
