The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing building information based on augmented and virtual reality. An objective of the present invention is to quickly check a location and information of a store included in a building in augmented and virtual reality modes, facilitate purchase and reservation of a product since virtual experience is possible for a selected store, and improve convenience since an individual search for a store in the building to visit the store is not required. The method for providing building information based on augmented and virtual reality comprises: a step of executing a program installed in a user terminal, and then selecting one driving mode among an augmented reality mode of receiving information of a building scanned by the user terminal, and a virtual reality mode of receiving information of a building selected from a map received from a server; a step of selecting a building scanned by a camera of the user terminal to be displayed on a screen output device if the augmented reality mode is selected as the driving mode by the user terminal; a step of receiving the selected building and location information by the user terminal to extract building information of stores included in the building from a database of the server to supply the building information to the screen display device of the user terminal; a step of selecting a store from the building information displayed on the screen display device by the user terminal; a step of extracting a three dimensional indoor diagram and a product to be sold which are store information for the store selected by the user terminal from the database of the server to supply the store information to the user terminal; and a step of reserving the store or ordering the product using the store information received by the user terminal.
