摘要

The present invention relates to a method to quantitatively analyze damage to a three-layer membrane electrode assembly (MEA) of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using photographing and image processing, and an apparatus thereto. According to the present invention, the method to analyze a damage to a three-layer MEA of a polymer electrolyte fuel cell using photographing and image processing comprises: a step of preparing an MEA for quantitatively analyzing degradation; a step of photographing a plurality of different points in an activated area of the MEA with an identical magnification to acquire a grayscale image; a step of digitizing each pixel of the grayscale image into a pixel photographing a damaged part and a pixel photographing a non-damaged part; a step of calculating a damage ratio of an MEA surface based on the digitized data; and a step of calculating an average value of the damage ratios of the MEA surface calculated in each point.
