Disclosed is a method for analyzing growth potential of harmful blue-green algae through cultivation of sediments. The method for analyzing the growth potential of the harmful blue-green algae through the cultivation of sediments according to the present invention comprises the following steps: collecting the sediments; mixing the collected sediments into a medium of the blue-green algae; treating a mixture of the sediments and the medium of the blue-green algae with an ultrasonic crusher; culturing the mixture at a temperature condition of 20 to 30°C and a light condition of 30 to 60 μmol/m^2/s for a predetermined period of time; and separating surface water from a culture solution to perform microscopic examination for the harmful blue-green algae.
