Since the oxidation of copper is suppressed and the average particle diameter is 10 nm or less, the present invention is characterized in that the melting point is remarkably lowered, the dispersibility is high, the low temperature sintering is possible and the protective layer is removed by low temperature sintering It is a major object of the present invention to provide a copper nanoparticle which can be suitably used for a conductive copper nanoink material and capable of stably storing and transporting copper nanoparticles at room temperature for a long period of time .The present invention relates to a copper nanoparticle formed of a core portion made of copper single crystal and a protective layer therearound,(1) the copper nanoparticles have an average particle diameter of 10 nm or less,(2) The protective layer includes at least one selected from a primary alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, a secondary alcohol having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, and derivatives thereof,(3) the protective layer has a boiling point or a pyrolysis temperature of 150 0 C or lowerWherein the copper nanoparticle is a copper nanoparticle.;
