The present invention relates to a steel box type girder bridge, which can efficiently carry out support by resisting the bending moment distribution of a girder and enables economical design. That is, the present invention comprises: a girder including webs disposed at the left and right sides at predetermined intervals, upper flanges respectively disposed on the webs in the horizontal direction, and lower flanges horizontally connected and disposed on the lower portions of the webs at the left and right sides thereof; negative moment sections where upper tension is generated while the girder is disposed; and positive moment sections where the lower tension of the girder is generated, wherein the upper flanges of the negative moment sections are formed as closed cross sections in which longitudinal ribs are disposed and the lower flanges thereof are formed as open cross sections such that the sections where bridge bearings are installed are formed as closed cross sections, and the upper flanges of the positive moment sections are formed as open cross sections and the lower flanges thereof are formed as closed cross sections in which longitudinal ribs are disposed.
