Apparatus and method for inferring structure of subsurface using approximate incident angles

Disclosed is an underground structure estimation apparatus using an approximate incident angle and a method thereof. The underground structure estimation apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: an approximate incident angle calculating unit for calculating the approximate incident angle by combining seismic waves without prior information and an initial velocity model for underground properties and underground structures; and an underground structure estimation unit for estimating P-wave velocity and a structure of underground medium using the calculated approximate incident angle.
