The present invention relates to a method of providing an educational service based on an augmented reality. According to an embodiment of the present invention, to provide an educational service based on an augmented reality, the method includes a step (a) of allowing an educational content providing apparatus to confirm the type of an educational content reproduction apparatus, and a step (b) of providing the educational content reproducing apparatus with moving picture data including an augmented reality tag, augmented reality script data executed according to the augmented reality tag, and a tag recognition program for recognizing the augmented reality tag. It is possible to provide various information to a learner.
