The present invention relates to a method for removing wax components from a woolen fiber, which comprises a step of heat treatment and alkali treatment, and a wool component-free woolen fiber. The heat treatment and alkali treatment process according to the present invention has been shown to remove the plant wax, lignin aliphatic aldehyde and fat components from the kapok fiber, and thus can be usefully used for removing the wax component of the kapok fiber.
