The present invention relates to an absorption tissue and an absorption rod using kapok fiber for removing floating oil of food, and a preparation method thereof, and more specifically, to an absorption tissue and an absorption rod using kapok fiber for removing the floating oil of food to allow floating oil generated during cooking and oil and leftover residue are easily removed with the absorption tissue and various shapes of the absorption rod, and a preparation method thereof. The present invention comprises the following steps: collecting kapok fiber from Actinidia arguta; providing the kapok fiber to a sheet manufacturing machine to mold the same into a sheet-shaped kapok fiber having a predetermined thickness by needle punching, and sterilizing (antibacterial treatment) the kapok fiber at 170-220 ℃ for 0.5-1.5 seconds; making holes at predetermined intervals while providing the absorption tissue that is molded using the sheet-shaped kapok fiber; and cutting the kapok fiber having holes by a predetermined size and packing the same to allow a tissue sheet to be pulled out.
