The present invention relates to unsaturated polyester resin for an apparel button having high impact resistance and a method of manufacturing the same and, more specifically, relates to unsaturated polyester resin for an apparel button having high impact resistance and a method of manufacturing the same, wherein the unsaturated polyester resin is manufactured, comprising: polyhydric alcohol having 1,6-hexandiol (1,6-HD) and propylene glycol (PG); a saturated basic acid having an isophtallic acid; and an anhydrous maleic acid (MAn) that is an unsaturated basic acid.
