Disclosed are a video call system for an elevator, a management server, and a method of operating the management server. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, a video call system for an elevator comprises a plurality of video call devices being installed in a one-to-one correspondence with a plurality of elevators for displaying a predetermined content through a display unit, displays a plurality of images and requesting a video call when an emergency situation occurrence action occurs; a plurality of manager terminal devices being arranged to correspond to a group formed by forming the plurality of video call systems in a group according to a predetermined group condition and connected to a video call device belonging to the arranged group via a wired and wireless communication network for connecting a video call in response to a video call request from any one of video call devices; and at least one management server connected to the plurality of manager terminal devices and the plurality of video call devices via a wired and wireless communication network. Therefore, a video call is possible without interruption of communication, and it is possible to quickly cope with an emergency situation by recording a video call.
