The present invention relates to a hydraulic jack and a method for lifting a structure using the same. The hydraulic jack can comprise: a cylinder support unit located on a support surface and having an empty inner space; a hydraulic cylinder installed on the upper end of the cylinder support unit and lifting and lowering a piston rod; a piston rod coupled to the inner side of the hydraulic cylinder so as to move in the vertical direction and extending in the longitudinal direction of the hydraulic cylinder; a steel member located in the piston rod and the cylinder support unit and forming a thread on the outer circumferential surface of the steel member; and a fixing member coupled to the thread of the steel member.
