According to the present invention, an effluent quality monitoring method of a sewage and wastewater treatment apparatus using a drone comprises: a step of matching location information of a plurality of sewage and wastewater treatment plants, daytime sample color image information for each pollution source, and nighttime grayscale color information for each pollution source to store the information in a management server; a step where a smart terminal receives the location information of the sewage and wastewater treatment plants stored in the management server to set an altitude and a flight route and transmit the altitude and the flight route to a drone; a step where the smart terminal downloads a drone flight application to install and activate the drone flight application to start a flight of the drone at night; a step where a fluoroscope camera attached to the drone photographs effluent of the sewage and wastewater treatment plants while the drone flies in accordance with the flight route, the location information, and the altitude received from the smart terminal; a step where the drone transmits effluent grayscale image information photographed at night, location information, and photographing time information to the management server; a step where the management server compares the received grayscale image information with nighttime grayscale image information previously stored in a pollution source database; a step where the management server extracts daytime sample color image information matching the nighttime grayscale image information if matched to estimate a pollution source type; a step where the management server compares the location information received from the drone with the previously stored location information of the sewage and wastewater treatment plants if the pollution source type is estimated to extract information of the sewage and wastewater treatment plants; and a step of providing the extracted pollution source type, the information of the sewage and wastewater treatment plants, and the daytime sample color image information via a display unit.
