FIELD: machine building; mining.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chassis design of mining machinery, namely to the track type chain of the mine excavator. Track of the mine excavator track type chain is made in the form of a cast base plate with end and side faces. In the center of the plate there is a tread bounded by arched crests. Side faces have eye lugs with the possibility of successive interfacing of tracks in the chain by bushings creating the articulated joint. Under the tread there is the stiffener. Central eye lugs are made in the form of a single casting with tread, on which a patch of high-alloy steel in the form of a parallelepiped is welded having width of the base, which is equal to the tread width with the length equal to the sum of the base plate width and eye lug length, and with the height, making up to 25–30 % of the tread height. In the upper part of the base plate ends there are open cavities.;EFFECT: increased service life and maintainability of the links of the track chain of mining excavator.;1 cl, 5 dwg
