FIELD: forestry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forest use and, namely to accounting of wood produced and to the control of its movements. Method of forest management includes harvesting and primary processing of wood, branding of manufactured products with electronic identifiers. Stamping is performed with a device mounted on the processor head, which incorporates a modified electronic identifier into the wood fibers. Identifier is made in an impact-resistant wedge-shaped body reinforced with metal elements of the antenna of the identifier. Readers for control group scanning of unique coded electromagnetic signals of identifiers are equipped with built-in firmware, which use the anti-collision procedure of received signals, read from each electronic identifier-stigma embedded in the reader of known firmware for group scanning.EFFECT: method will allow to increase efficiency of accounting for the produced timber and to control its movement.1 cl
