PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for effectively washing a used "sevoflurane storage container" without using expensive sevoflurane as a washing liquid.SOLUTION: A washing method includes: a step (step A) of securing a state in which at least sevoflurane vapor is present in a sevoflurane storage container; a step (step B) of bringing a "liquid containing water as a major component" into contact with an inner wall of the sevoflurane storage container in a state in which the sevoflurane vapor is present in the sevoflurane storage container, and draining the liquid to the outside of the storage container in a liquid state, after the step A; and a step (step C) of circulating a drying gas in the storage container and draining the liquid remaining on the inner wall of the storage container to the outside of the storage container together with the drying gas, after execution of the step B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
