FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of prophylactic means that are designed to prevent sticking and freezing of the overburden rocks to surfaces of the transportation equipment, as well as the adfreezing of the overburden rocks in their mass. Prophylactic means is obtained by compounding distillates of the catalytic cracking process with the boiling limits from 170 to 280°C and 280 to 395°C in the ratio 1:1 in the amount of 95-98 wt % and tar as a thickening additive in an amount of 2 to 5 wt %, heated to a temperature of 70-80°C.;EFFECT: improvement of low-temperature, viscous, fire-hazardous properties, as well as expansion of the raw materials base.;2 tbl, 2 ex
