FIELD: construction.;SUBSTANCE: beam consists of two or more wooden bars connected in height by metal toothed plates along the side surfaces. The manufacture of the beams is made from lumber of I and II grade with a moisture content of 12%. The metal toothed plates are made of galvanized steel. The area of the plates decreases in the direction from the supports of the composite beam to the middle.;EFFECT: beam allows to simplify the design and to reduce the metal consumption of the plates, and to reduce therefore the cost of the entire beam as a whole.;2 dwg
