COMPRESSION MASK FOR POSTOPERATIVE COOLING PATIENT'S SOFT FACIAL TISSUE

FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a medical technique, namely to a compression mask for post-operative cooling of the soft tissues of a patient's face. Mask body with slots for the eyes, mouth and nose of the patient is made of 0.5–2.0 mm thick from a biocompatible and non-toxic polymeric material. Configuration of the mask body is modeled on the results of a pre-made computed tomography, a 3D photographic image of the patient's soft tissue, and also on the basis of the model created and produced using printing on a 3D printer with the boundaries of the postoperative area of the patient's face soft tissues. Mask is equipped with the means of fastening and fixing it on the head of the operated patient in the form of an elastic fastening strap, which is regulated by the degree of compression pressure on the surface of the soft tissues of the patient's face. Inner body surface of the compression mask is equipped with a cooling system of the surface of the operated patient's face soft tissues. Cooling system is made in the form of a continuous and curved mask placed vertically on the inner surface of the body without intersecting the serpentine branches with rounded passages of the cooling tube with the supply inlet and outlet of the cooling liquid or gaseous. Cooling tubes are made of biocompatible and non-toxic polymeric tubular material with an outer diameter of 2–3 mm with the distances between two adjacent branches of the cooling tube from 5 to 8 mm.;EFFECT: technical result is reliable provision of the given immobilization, cooling and maintenance of the operated tissues.;5 cl, 2 dwg
