FIELD: physics, nuclear physics.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear technology, in particular to analytical support for reprocessing an irradiated nuclear fuel, and discloses a method for the joint spectrophotometric determination of neptunium, americium and plutonium. Method is characterized in that an aliquot of the test sample containing neptunium, americium and plutonium is evaporated, the dry residue is dissolved in sulfuric acid with the concentration of 1–3 mole per liter-1, the resulting solution is added with divalent silver as an oxide (AgO), stirred, the sample is placed in a spectrophotometric cuvette, measurements are made and the concentration and the quantitative content of these elements in the sample are calculated from the values of the optical density at the corresponding wavelengths: Am(III) – 503 nm, Pu(VI) – 830 nm and Np(VI) – 1,223 nm.;EFFECT: invention can be used to simplify the determination of the mass content of Am, Pu and Np, while simultaneously increasing the efficiency and accuracy.;1 cl, 1 tbl
