FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for processing crude ore and can be used for processing titanomagnetite crude ore. Method for processing titanomagnetite crude ore comprises crushing of initial ore and subsequent separation of a vanadium-containing concentrate. Initial ore is additionally crushed to a size of 3-0 mm. Iron and titanonadadium concentrates are separated by means of heap and/or agitation leaching of titanium and vanadium with a solution, containing ammonium ions ((NH4)+) and fluorine (F-) at varying pH and concentration of ammonium ions ((NH4)+) from 0 to 13.62 mole/l and fluorine (F-) from 0 to 13.62 mole/l. Optimum concentration of ammonium and fluoride ions in solution, pH level, temperature and time of the process are chosen so that the selectivity of separating titanium from the raw material is maximized. In the case of agitation leaching, the T: I ratio varies in the ranges from 1:2.5 to 1:4.;EFFECT: technical result is production of iron concentrate with an increased iron mass fraction due to a more complete separation of the titanonadiene concentrate from it.;1 cl, 8 tbl, 5 ex
