FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to determine the outcome of acute destructive pancreatitis (ADP). In patients with ADP, in the first 24 hours after the diagnosis the activities of NADP- and NADPH-dependent glutamate dehydrogenase are determined in the neutrophils of the venous blood of patients using the bioluminescent method, after which the ratio of dehydrogenase activities is calculated. If the ratio is below 0.035, an adverse outcome of the disease is predicted, with an equal 0.035 or higher - a benign outcome of ADP.;EFFECT: method allows to determine the risk of an adverse outcome in the early period of the disease.;1 cl, 2 tbl, 4 ex
