FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, internal diseases, diagnostics, and is intended to assess the cardiovascular risk in patients with COPD on the background of smoking. Risk factors for cardiovascular diseases are determined: sex, severity of COPD, intensity and duration of smoking, degree of tobacco dependence, elevated levels of low-density lipoproteins and presence of abdominal obesity. Each risk factor is assessed in points.
