FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery, and can be used to treat hemangiomas. Hemangioma is treated with Nd-YAG laser beam with a wavelength of 1064 nm. Flux density of 25 to 140 J/cm2, pulse duration from 10 to 25 ms, spot size of 3 to 4 mm, frequency of 1 Hz are used for exposure. Skin is protected from overheating by means of a water cooling system: water with a temperature of +2 … +3 °C circulates in the window between two sapphire glasses. Lower glass is attached to the skin surface, cooling it. Laser beam passes through the upper glass, then the water and the lower glass, getting to a skin lesion, and influences a pathological tissue.;EFFECT: method provides a good aesthetic result due to the attenuated parameters of laser action and the use of a water cooling system protecting the skin around the lesion from excess heat energy.;1 cl, 2 dwg
