FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to vascular surgery, and can be used to treat hemangiomas. Hemangioma is treated with Nd-YAG laser beam with a wavelength of 1064 nm. Flux density of 25 to 140 J/cm², pulse duration from 10 to 25 ms, spot size of 3 to 4 mm, frequency of 1 Hz are used for exposure. Skin is protected from overheating by means of a water cooling system: water with a temperature of +2 … +3 °C circulates in the window between two sapphire glasses. Lower glass is attached to the skin surface, cooling it.
