A process for producing a reverse osmosis retentate comprising a high content of α-galactoside and PA1b fraction, said process comprising: a) a step of microfiltration or centrifugation of soluble pea fractions resulting in a microfiltration permeate or a centrifugation supernatant; b) followed by a step of ultrafiltration of the microfiltration permeate or centrifugation supernatant resulting in an ultrafiltration permeate and an ultrafiltration retentate; c) followed by a step of reverse osmosis of the ultrafiltration permeate resulting in a permeate from the reverse osmosis and a high content reverse osmosis retentate to α-galactoside and PA1b fraction leads.
