Aromatic amines were determined by the simple treatment of carboxylic acid imides with concentrated azetidine synthesized. The reactions take place by means of a strongly negative activation enthalpy, and can be accelerated by cooling. Bathochromically absorbent and some highly fluorescent dyes in the perylene - series in this way, or via the reaction with pyrrolidine are represented.n="45"
