The present invention relates to a spike - port (22) for a support which consists of two layers delimiting an inner space produced film bag (40) for medical purposes to the film layers with a sealable, the inside hollow shaft portion (4) and a closure end (24), into which a closure (6) of an elastomeric material is inserted.In order to provide a generic spike - port which can be produced with a simple to provide sealing closure, it is proposed that on the closure end (24), a flange surface (28) is formed, by means of which the shank portion (4) with a cap placed on it (32) is connected by means of a welded joint.
