Hybrid super capacitor (2), comprising– at least a negative electrode (21), comprising a statically capacitive active material, an electrochemical redox active material or a mixture thereof,– at least a positive electrode (22), comprising a statically capacitive active material, an electrochemical redox active material or a mixture thereof,– at least one between the at least one negative electrode (21) and the at least one positive electrode (22) arranged separator (18), and– an electrolyte composition (15),with the proviso that at least one electrode (21), (22) comprises a statically capacitive active material, and at least one electrode (21), (22) comprises an electrochemical redox active material,the electrolyte composition (15) is a liquid electrolyte composition and at least a liquid, aprotic, organic solvent, at least one conducting salt, as well as at least one at least partially halogenated aromatic compound.
