The invention relates to a method for dynamically adapting a visual user interface in an automatically / autonomously driving vehicle, in which the visual user interface is varied as a function of predetermined state variables of the vehicle. In one method, the visual user interface is changed depending on switching between an automatic / autonomous driving mode and a manual driving mode.
