The invention relates to wall-flow filters for cleaning exhaust gases from engines with mutually closed parallel exhaust gas inlet ducts and exhaust gas outlet ducts, the filter additionally having catalyst ducts which are closed on both sides and contain catalyst in solid form. The invention also relates to production processes and uses of the filter for purifying exhaust gases, in particular from diesel engines.
