The invention provides a scattered radiation grid for x-ray imaging comprising alternately arranged x-ray transmissive and x-ray absorbing layers (1, 2), the x-ray absorbing layers (2) being formed of an amorphous material. The invention also provides a use of an amorphous metal for the X-ray absorbing layers (2) of a anti-scatter grid.
