A housing is disposed so as to clad therein at least a portion of a rotary drive device arranged to rotate an optical component, which in turn is arranged to reflect incident light coming from a light source. The housing includes a first tubular portion that is tubular, arranged to extend along a central axis that extends in a vertical direction, and has a first cavity defined radially inwardly of the first tubular portion; and a second tubular portion, which is tubular, directly or indirectly connected to a lower portion of the first tubular portion and having a second cavity defined radially inwardly of the second tubular portion. The first cavity is arranged to define a light path along which the incident light moves and is connected to the second cavity. The second tube section is arranged to house at least a portion of the optical component therein. The first and second tube sections are defined by a single monolithic component.
