To provide a technique for preventing a course of a break from being learned, a route learning system includes: a proposed route acquiring section that acquires a proposed travel route; a travel course obtaining section that acquires a travel history of a vehicle; a route deviation segment acquiring section that acquires a route deviation segment that is a route that is different from the proposed travel route; a route deviation segment correcting section that makes a correction to remove a segment between a branch point from a main road to a device and a return point from the device to the main road and to connect the branch point and the return point to a segment that does not include the device; and a learning section that learns the corrected route deviation segment.
