The invention relates to: on one hand a pressure plate (1) for a friction clutch mechanism, comprising a ring (6) of revolution that is provided, on its outer periphery, with at least three angularly equidistant radial tabs (13) for connection to a cover (3), characterized in that said ring bears a set of two masses (11, 12) which project radially and are arranged on the transverse axis (X) passing both through the center of the ring and one of the tabs (13) for connection to the cover; and, on the other hand, to the use thereof in a friction clutch mechanism and to the corresponding friction clutch mechanism.
