A rectenna radio energy recovery device comprising: - a pair of antennas (7a, 7b, 7c, 7d); each antenna comprising a first port (8a) responsive to a first polarization and a second port (8b) responsive to a second polarization, each antenna being associated with an antenna module (12) comprising a first RF-DC conversion circuit (13a) and a second RF-DC conversion circuit (13b); the first RF-DC conversion circuit and the second RF-DC conversion circuit each comprising: an impedance matching means (15), a diode (16) and a DC filtering means (17); the first RF-DC conversion circuit and the second RF-DC conversion circuit being connected in parallel, an output of the first RF-DC conversion circuit and an output of the second RF-DC conversion circuit being each connected to the same DC output connected to a pole of an output load (RL), - the diode of the first conversion circuit being mounted in the same direction as the diode of the second conversion circuit.
