IDENTIFICATION OF A CLOUD MOVING ABOVE A PHOTOVOLTAIC FARM

The invention relates to the detection of a cloud passage over a photovoltaic farm comprising a plurality of groups of solar modules, each group being connected to a housing (SJB1, SJB2, SJBN) connected to computer means (DIS) and delivering a measure of electrical production of the group. The computerized resources (DIS) implement the steps: - obtain, for each group, a measurement of production at different successive instants, - establish a temporal variation of the production for each group, - evaluate the derivative relative to the time of the variation and comparing said derivative to a threshold, for each group, a cloud being detected as passing over a group in the case where the estimated derivative for that group is below a predetermined threshold.
