The invention relates to a portable device (1) for the detection of pollutants in a gas comprising a measurement module (2) controlled by a control module (3). The measuring module (2) comprising a pumping box (20) and a measurement line (4) disposed outside said pumping box (20) and comprising a measuring chamber (40) provided with a sensor pollution. The pump housing (20) comprises a flowmeter associated with a pump for real-time monitoring of the volume of gas circulated in said measuring chamber (40). The pollution sensor detects in real time the level of pollution in said gas volume, and said control module (3) allows to visualize in real time this level of pollution and its evolution during the duration of the measurement. This device makes it possible to carry out a sampling simultaneously by adding in the measuring line (4) a sampling tube packed with an adsorbent.
