A portfolio case for use with tablet computer

A portfolio comprises a case in which a tablet 80 may be secured to an inside surface of lid 4 for operable connection to a fold-out keyboard 20. The case also includes a power pack 24 retained within the case. In this way, a tablet computer 80 may achieve all the functionality of a laptop computer, while retaining the versatility of a tablet 80. The case further includes a hinge (32, figure 3) configured to hold the lid 4 in either in a fully open position or in a partially open position in which operation of the tablet by a user is substantially inhibited.
