The method involves cooling compressed air from a compressor (12) using a cooler and supplying cooled air to a gas turbine (11). The supply of water to a boiler (17) is performed, for converting water into steam. A power generation plant (10) is switched between single driving mode in which the gas turbine is operated for power generation, and dual driving mode in which the gas turbine and steam turbine are operated for power generation.
