Technique for advanced ARQ buffer management in wireless communication system

Transmitter used in the wireless communication system of automatic repeat request (ARQ) and the method for its operation are provided. This method comprises: determining the ARQ receivers of the ARQ receiver buffers of unutilized capacity, determine that ARQ receiver buffers can support to send ARQ block based on the ARQ receiver buffers of identified unutilized capacity, if it is determined that the ARQ receiver buffers support the transmission of ARQ data blocks, ARQ block ARQ receivers are sent.
