The present invention relates to a method for separating a protein comprising a cellulose binding domain from plants by using various forms of cellulose and/or a variant thereof. The method of the present invention for separating a protein can separate a protein having high purity in a large-scale, rapid, and easy way and at low cost by using a cellulose binding domain having high affinity. Therefore, it is expected that the present invention can be applied to various industrial fields.
