The present invention describes a deodorant for treating sediment in-situ, the deodorizing method and the associated facilities. The deodorant is a calcium nitrate solution with a mass percentage of 14.32% to 52.49%. The deodorizing method comprises the following: (a) Determining acid volatile sulfides content and total organic carbon content of sediments to be deodorized, and then calculating the dosage of calcium nitrate solution required for deodorization; (b) Ploughing the bed of the treatment area by injection tines of a bioremediator; and at the same time, injecting calcium nitrate solution into the sediment; and after the bioremediator has navigated forward, the trench sides of the ploughed furrows will collapse, thus encapsulating the calcium nitrate solution within sediment. The facilities for deodorizing sediment in-situ are bioremediator(s) which comprise 4 systems, namely an injection system, a storage system, two supply systems and a navigation system. The present invention utilizes a bioremediator to inject calcium nitrate solution into sediment so that those organic pollutants producing bad odor will be degraded by the help of the calcium nitrate to harmless and odorless gases. The present invention will further solve the problems associated with the current practice of environmental dredging, namely that land and spaces will have to be occupied and secondary pollution will be caused due to dredging of sediment and their subsequent disposal.
