To provide an operation monitoring system for a desulfurization device that can detect deterioration in performance of a desulfurization device accurately and earlier.SOLUTION: An operation monitoring system for a desulfurization device for removing SOfrom an exhausted gas using an absorbent calculates analytical performance for desulfurization performance based on operation data of the desulfurization device, acquires corresponding actual measurement performance and calculates a performance ratio that is a ratio of the analytical performance to the actual measurement performance to evaluate desulfurization performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
