To provide novel acid sphingomyelinase activity enhancers and novel anti-allergic compositions.SOLUTION: The invention provides an enhancer of acid sphingomyelinase activity comprising one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of eriodictyol and derivatives thereof and hesperetin and derivatives thereof.
