To provide a trolley wire abnormality diagnosis method and a trolley wire abnormality diagnostic device by which abnormality diagnosis of the whole length of a trolley wire can be easily and quickly performed and tendency monitoring can be performed, and an electrically-driven movable body.SOLUTION: There is provided a trolley wire abnormality diagnosis method for performing abnormality diagnosis of a trolley wire which supplies electric power to an electrically-driven movable body via a current collector. According to this method, measurement of a state quantity for a prescribed diagnosis, which represents a state of the trolley wire and is used for abnormality diagnosis, is performed for the trolley wire from the electrically-driven movable body side during running of the electrically-driven movable body, and abnormality diagnosis of the trolley wire is performed by use of the state amount for said diagnosis and a determination threshold which is a preset threshold for abnormality diagnosis of the trolley wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
