To provide a self-propelled type automatic fusion machine and a construction method of a water shielding structure which reliably retains cleanliness of a joint part of water shielding sheets adjoining to each other and can suitably fuse the joint part.SOLUTION: A self-propelled type automatic fusion machine B for laying and arranging a water shielding sheets 1 while overlapping end parts on each other and fusing a joint part S of the overlapped water shielding sheets 1a, 1b adjoining to each other includes a heating means for heating and welding the joint part S of the water shielding sheet 1, a pressure bonding means for press-bonding the joint part S of a pair of water shielding sheets 1 adjoining to each other which are heated and welded to integrate the water shielding sheets, a self-propelled means for causing a self-propelled type automatic fusion machine B to be self-propelled and a cleaning means 5 which be self-propelled respectively along a lower surface of the joint part S of an upper side water shielding sheet 1a and an upper surface of the joint part S of the lower side water shielding sheet 1b of a pair of water shielding sheets 1 adjoining to each other on an advancing direction (self-propelled direction) front side from the heating means, wipes off and performs cleaning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
