To adjust a depth of a floating body without changing a length of a rope body.SOLUTION: A depth adjustment system 1 includes: a platform; a hollow rope body 3 with one end side retained to the platform; a floating body 4 connected with the other end side of the rope body 3 and floating in water; a linear weight 6 capable of being inserted in an inner space of the rope body 3; a drum device 5 provided on the platform and capable of feeding out and winding up the weight 6; and a controller 7. Sinking of the float body 4 is carried out by feeding out the weight 6 from the drum device 5 and increasing a portion into which the weight 6 is inserted in the rope body 3. Floating of the floating body 4 is carried out by reducing the portion into which the weight 6 is inserted in the rope body 3 by winding up the weight 6 into the drum 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
